Worked in two separate departments in two separate positions, so many years with the company, When an employee gave notice I took over her position as tech pack coordinator and continued with My duties as technical designer, Always being told, “you can handle it” was a very busy environment but loved all the challenges it brought, as I work better under pressure; Worked closely with designers to get a perfect fit, relayed all fit /spec changes to contractors Overseas, keeping close eye on changes to guarantee timely delivery. Oversee all facets of production, from costing thru enforcing quality control. Created calendars to keep the team on schedule from product development, sales, production to shipping, Because I had my hands in so many different levels, it was easy to keep track of the production, I attended all design meetings to understand all fabrics/style issues before we even got into the fittings, This way it was easy to figure out where the issues would be and what import fabrics needed to be developed first. I issued all the cuts and tracked thru production, I purchased all fabric and trims and kept a close communication with quality control.

The company was selling the BISOU BISOU label to JC PENNEY, so that was the reason I eventually left the company, the owner was to involved in the sale that the company and vendors were being neglected.

Worked directly under owner to purchase all fine fabrics for the BALL GOWN line, and did all the Follow up for pricing and making sure of timely deliveries, once received, the fabrics were inspected in house for quality, to make sure of no damages or shading, if so, would take care of reorders and exchanges immediately. Kept a log of all production to make sure all was purchased according to delivery. Also was in charge of order entry and receiving all outside communications for owner. Partnered with all other departments to make sure production flowed evenly, when help was needed, I always offered my help.
