Summary
My core engineering is in digital embedded based system design using microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, and power electronics for HW and SW (kernel & driver) designs.
I have spent many years leading the development of new embedded based systems for OEM & ODM in automotive industry.
7 years at Clarion, Marine Infotainment
5 years at Panasonic Automotive, OEM Infotainment
7 years at Alpine Electronics, OEM Infotainment
plus other companies and projects in consumer markets before 1997
I've managed different configurations of design & development teams such as local in-house, overseas teams, vendors & suppliers (mostly in China), and setting up the manufacturing lines in different countries. Releasing the parts, PPAP submission, planning water-fall events, and builds. Scheduling using MS-Project, Quality planning, Testing and certifications, reporting to all levels, document control, change management, production line audit and approval. Generating DVP&R, DFMEA, and PFMEAs for OEM products.
