Jockey/Hostler driver

Inspection of Railway tracks before departure.

Drive a jockey truck moving 53ft trailers, containers and chassis around the yard.

Pulling 53ft.containers from different locations and spotting containers right next to train tracks for loading

Perform various ground person duties, climbing on and off the railcars, locking and unlocking tracks, putting in and taking out inner box connectors (IBC’S).

Assist packer operators in loading and unloading the equipment using hand signals.

Assist in the process of stacking and unstacking chassis as well as loading and unloading chassis rack with the use of forklift.

Also loading and unloading 53ft containers on railcars with the use of heavy machinery (Cranes).

Correctly positioned forklifts over/under/around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, and other materials for transport to designated areas.
