Evaluates the patient’s condition through physical assessment and vascular access evaluation
Determines the patient’s previous activities that may have an impact or affectation with the hemodialysis treatment procedure
Coordinates with the Junior Nurse 1 on the recorded weight and vital signs of the patient for point of reference
Consults the attending Nephrologist/Internist on the treatment duration, ultra filtration parameters, heparin level or any patient-related concerns
Ensuring effective and therapeutic communication with the patient, patient’s relatives and team members
Coordinates with the cashier on the additional charges to be included in the patient’s charges slip
Priming bloodlines and Setting Up machines
Assist the patient to their respective dialysis chair/station
Carries out the doctors order
Responsible for the initiation of the hemodialysis hooking procedures
