Weekend Help

My father owned a motorcycle shop and I was required to work on the weekends with him. This taught me customer service skills at a young age as well as teaching me the basics in running a successful business. Some of the duties involved were handling money, helping retrieve and install parts, aiding customers, etc. 1980-1982

Ski Patrol

While living in Colorado, I worked a seasonal job of Ski Patrol for the winter.

Carpenter Apprentice

In warmer weather (Spring, Summer, Fall); I was

apprenticing with different carpenters. This is when I learned that my passion was carpentry.

Some of the duties involved were gathering materials, building, wood working, siding, trims, etc.

1991-Present

Carpenter’s Union

I joined the Carpenter’s Union and have worked for/with various contractors in different locations. Unfortunately when in the Union, jobs come and go. When a job is finished, you get put back on the list until another is available. Because of this, I also have my own business called “JPF Carpentry.” There is no job too big or small and I have even travelled out of state when the right job calls.

Experience and Benefits:

I have performed every aspect of residential and commercial construction ranging from foundation to the roof; including concrete, framing, sheetrock, trim work, roofing, siding, kitchens, beams, etc.

Because I am passionate, I take pride in my work and feel the need to always put my best effort into everything I do, I go all in until the day is done!

As well as professional experience, I have picked up extra knowledge from being a homeowner. Over the years I have had to learn how to do everything from plumbing to electric, maintenance to tree care. I have worked with small engines and have a strong suit for troubleshooting. I am always willing to learn new things and take direction well.
