Machine Operator – Manufacturing and Production Industries

Verifiable strengths in learning to operate and maintain 17 different machines, with quality and time being of the essence. Excellent skills in learning and maintaining the information in which to move around to do various jobs when the need arises. Also, I can train new hires to run and operate these machines to perform at the capacity that the company requires. 1 year of experience in maintenance, at Industrial Recycling & Recovery, which is a recycling facility.

Digital Technician, Construction & Vinyl Billboard Installer

●Climb billboard signs and remove old vinyl and install and secure new vinyl, while making sure all safety procedures are followed.

●Removing old structures and rebuilding new structures; poles, walk board on signs, whole billboard wood backing.

●Helping to program digital billboards, installing panels to the details, and troubleshooting any issues via the electronics on the billboards.

●Certification for digital billboards, Formecto, Dektronics, MRI Industries, Anthom Digitals. This requires electrical knowledge and reading of schematics to install and to troubleshoot any problems.

●Operate forklift, bucket trucks, backhoes, and cranes.

GOSSETT CONCRETE & PIPE CO. 5/2014 - 8/2015

MAINTENANCE ON CONCRETE MACHINES

Work 10 hour shifts to maintain all concrete pipe making machinery, so that production is met.

●Stick welding and mig welding to fabricate metal shots, and to repair conveyors when broken, also fabricate heads to insert into the concert mixers.

●Replace bearings, belts; complete all preventative maintenance on machinery.

●Check all machinery for safety, complete needed repairs so that safety is the number one priority.

●Repair forklifts and loaders as needed, also complete PM’s when needed.

●Ordering all parts and materials needed for repairs, getting the best price to save the company money.

Mechanic and restoration technician, doing everything from building motors to restoring cars to their original state. Started as a part time mechanic helper, I took the hands-on approach which proved to the owner that I was very mechanically inclined and was a great asset to the company, which led me to working there on all of my days off from Kohler. This was a very high volume fleet maintenance shop with a great volume of service road calls.

●Learned to read calipers and gauges.

●Turned rotors on Fleet trucks from small dodges to bigger transfer trucks.

●Operated the tire changing machine on the smaller tires to manually change 22.5 tires on the transfer trucks.

●Learned to read the codes off of the Computer Diagnostic HandSet and take the codes to the computer to diagnose the problems with the trucks.

●Rebuild engines, replaced ball joints, brakes; install new transmission, and rear end in these fleet vehicles.

●Did some welding when needed.
