Self employed sub contractor installing all hard surface flooring in and around the metro area. Licensed in Minnesota with liability insurance Ann’s workers comp. I do Mostly residential construction but also some commercial. New and old construction remodels, insurance claims, demos, repairs, trim work, etc. I work alone for the most part but also have 2 part time helpers when I need them. This is more of a part time/on call kind of gig. But job consists of Doing all kinds of general labor. Yard work, cutting trees, mechanical work in shop, landscaping, carpentry work, basic cleanup, power washing. Etc. basically anything that needs to be fixed or completed. I’m the one to do it.

I started out with Dalbec flooring doing basic floor prep, grunt work while I learned the basics of installing hard surface flooring in new construction homes as well as some remodels. After 6 months of watching, learning and performing the tasks I was responsible for.. my boss promoted me to the assistant lead installer. He expressed his appreciation for the strong work ethic I brought every day and the fact that I possessed good leadership tendencies. Especially considering the 4 other guys I worked with had a combined 40 years experience in the industry. After 1 year I was lead installer of a 3 man crew. I was responsible for managing the crew, making sure all necessary floor prep was done to meet required standards before install. I was to make sure we met all deadlines and kept communication if any problems or changes were to happen.

In 2017 I found out I had a child on the way and decided to go on my own obtained my llc so I could have more control of my schedule and hopefully benefit more financially as a sub contractor. Education
