● A DoD installation that manufactures mortars along with cannons for the U.S. military.
● The work is done in a production environment where the material being machined is moved from station to station by use of overhead cranes.
● The work I did involved the setup and operation of machine tools that included lathes, drill presses, grinders, mills, boring machines, interpreting blueprints along with using precision measuring instruments.
HVAC – Hudson Valley Community College
● Study of heating & cooling systems that included the assembly & operation of HVAC
units with emphasis on electrical controls & troubleshooting

Capital Region BOCES
A “500” hour course at the Capital Region BOCES that offered a hands-on approach to welding. Its main focus was on shielded metal arc and to a lesser degree on MIG, TIG, oxy/acetylene cutting/welding, theory.
