oI had to ring customers’ items up, and had to give them their exact change back. I bagged groceries and placed them in the carts, and always asked them if they needed assistance to their vehicle,

oI had to quit to take care of my Late Grandmother that suffered from severe Alzheimer’s Disease

Activities Since Being Unemployed

I had to wake my Grandma every morning and always be at her side while walking to prevent falls, and help her Bathroom necessities (Changing her Depends, Sponge bathing, etc.) as well as dressing her.

I scheduled all Dr. Appointments and attended with her, dealt with Pharmacy and administered her medications. I handled meals and meal planning to insure a proper nutritional intake.

In addition, there was the day to day maintaining of the household including shopping, laundry, and general cleaning of the house.

I kept her engaged both physically and mentally.

As her disease progressed and she was placed in Home Hospice, I would prepare Ensure-Based Smoothies & Fresh Fruits to supplement her calorie and protein intake.

I also had to learn basic Medical procedures for the care and maintenance of bedsores.

Job Responsibilities

Conducting a research survey for the CDC, regarding childhood vaccines.

This involved calling randomly-selected phone numbers across the United States.

Responders were asked to answer a few basic questions; did they have children, if so how many children and were those children vaccinated.

Once the baseline was established there were further in depth questions regarding the types of vaccines received and vaccines that were not given.

The name of the children’s doctor and the doctor’s location information were requested.

This information was put into the database for further follow up by the CDC.

Reason for Leaving

The location that I was working at for N.O.R.C. was closing down. They could only keep so many people. Since I was not working there as long as others that have been there, they had to let go of a lot of their employees. Unfortunately, I was one of those people. However I was told I had the best performance in a long time for a new worker.
