EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS
Over 25 years of experience as a licensed Architect in California, managing projects ranging from $800K to over $200 hundred million in construction costs.
Part of a team that provided Conceptual and Basic Design Services for a Confidential Client, Semiconductor Project in Arizona, USA. Project was a $2.4 Billion semiconductor fabrication plant offering 600,000 sq. ft. of clean room space plus supporting facilities and utilities.
Role: Project Architect for the Central Utility Building and Deputy Architectural Lead for the fabrication plant.
Lead Project Architect for the $200 million Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral for Bechtel Corp., which included the Mobile Service Tower, a moving structure that traveled 500 feet, the Umbilical Tower, and other aviation buildings. Ramon was involved with Launch Complex 40 from initial inception to design and construction documents in San Francisco, CA; he was the Lead Project Architect during construction of the complex in Florida. At about 50% project completion, Ramon led a redesign of the top 10 levels of the MST for higher cleanroom and electromagnetic shielding requirements as requested by the US Air Force clients.

Part of an architectural team that designed a 24-story addition to the San Francisco Downtown Hilton that featured a 10,000 SF ballroom.
Served as the Construction Administration for the Structural Voluntary Upgrade of the Serrano North Convalescent Hospital with extensive interaction with OSHPD; simultaneously as Architect of Record for the Building Bridges Day Care Center and as LEED Declarant for LEED Silver certification of the project.
Diverse experience in the following industries: residential (single, multi-family, mid-rise and elderly housing), education, healthcare, hospitality, defense, aviation, aerospace, industrial, commercial, religious, and institutional.
Most recent work includes extensive experience in managing education projects, including the remodeling of the Science & Liberal Arts Building at Merritt College, a 70,000 SF building in Oakland with a $34 million budget as well as a $1.8 million design and construction documents production of the Junipero Serra Annex Child Development Center in San Francisco.
Successfully designed a new Helistop at the San Francisco General Hospital, while overcoming significant fire protection challenges on the roof as well as noise and dust mitigating issues of the floors below.
As Lead Architect for the Stone Webster/F.E. Jordan Joint Venture, designed the $40 million North Cargo Facility Building at the San Francisco International Airport, presented to the San Francisco Arts Commission, and received unanimous approval.
