Skills

In 2015 and 2016 I started to explore the world of fabric designing on Spoonflower. That included taking digital photographs and adding designs with different filters and textures That also included adding various components in multiple layers. I grew up in a large family where all of us learned to cook, garden, and can our garden and small orchard produce.

Caring for animals was also a skill I learned as I grew up and when my sister needed help in her grooming business I jumped right in. I learned to layer brush, use a clipper to shave down dogs, bathe them, and, get them clean. I also learned to fluff dry dogs, get them completely dry if they needed to be shaved down again for a smooth finish and, clean their ears and, trim their toenails.

In 2018 I started a chicken farm. I feed, and water over 100 chickens. Some are free range and some are in movable pens. Others are in large coops. (Which I have built.) My duties beyond feeding, watering, and moving pens include gathering, cleaning, and sorting eggs by color and weight.
