I have many roles in making everyday work, jobs in different departments if you will come together. I never know what the day is going to consist of. I have many responsibilities on a daily basis and it’s my job to get deadlines reached or to finish a certain project that may have been pushed out due to back orders. I had started with hauling appliances for new builds throughout the state. Which I grew into learning how to install all appliances this includes doing customer builds for single family homes. I’m skilled in wiring the dishwashers, to wall ovens. I also know how to correctly connect plumbing in anyway that’s needed for that certain job. As I grew and installed several hundred appliances I starting running my own crews which usually would only consist of 4-5 guys my responsibilities in that role were to make sure things were running consistently,smoothly while answering to the site General contractor as well as giving out certain tasks to my co workers. That would be hauling all appliances to their designated units which was 15-20 apartment units a day fully haul and put individuals on certain appliances to install after the haul. I was also responsible for overseeing the entire install while getting every model number and serial number and walking the job with the GC after completion… I also grew into a role with the retail department where I would be installing up to 32 pieces a day with my partner. Jobs were for customers and for new builds for single family homes. I also became skilled with driving all different types of trucks usually bigger air break box trucks. I had also been responsible for picking up orders from will call at major distribution centers loading my own truck with a dolly I have made overnight delivers in an air break truck on 1-70 through mountains and all over the state of Colorado. I believe this job gave me knowledge and experience for any type of situation. I became the individual would go out To certain high priority jobs and by myself to install and deliver for projects to be completed from back orders to jobs that were pushed out. Forklift operator and grinder. I move large loads of metal from one area of the plant to another and then grind and prepare the posts to be loaded on to the semi trucks. I then move the banded loads of galvanized post to the yard to be stacked and loaded. We are on a very tight schedule as we have so many pounds of metal that we need to move per day to hit our quota. I work for a company that builds 50 foot construction bins. I am responsible for all the welds on the bins to be ground down for safety and efficiency for when the painters complete the bins. If the welds are not ground down to perfection than it cost the company more time and money to send them back to be redone so quality control is a big part of my job. Independent Contractor
