Net Impact CTC Chapter

Positions: Team member, VP of Finance, and President This organization is worldwide where we help the community with sustainability and bring awareness to issues that are in this country. Some of the projects I was on was the Awareness Project, where we bring awareness to our school about health issues or serious things that are happening like human trafficking. I was also on the project for Up to Us, where we discussed the importance of fiscal policy and how our vote truly does matter. I was a team lead for one semester of this project, and we hosted an escape room on campus where teenagers can come do puzzles about fiscal policy and learn in a fun way. I was Project Manager of another semester on this project, and we did a haunted maze because it was around Halloween. Students had to read information on the board and take a quiz throughout the maze and if they got the answer wrong, they had to go into a dead end. There was a catch, they had to find hidden hole punches after each question to claim a prize at the end. As President of the organization, I work closely with my fellow officers and my faculty advisor to ensure that the organization is running smoothly and that the project managers are getting their projects under control and implementing them. When I was VP of Finance, I was tasked with keeping up with the books and budget.

ABOUT ME

I am a huge animal lover. I have 5 dogs, 5 cats and a Chinchilla. Four of my dogs are Siberian Huskies. I have always wanted to do something with animals since I was little. I grew up with 1 cat who was my best friend. He unfortunately passed away when I was 18, he was 17 in human years. I like to read when I have time as well as sew. Right now, I am currently trying to sew a dog play mat. The play mat has places to hide treats and it makes the pup have to use their thinking skills to find out how to get to the treats. I graduated from Central Texas College with an associate in applied science with a focus on business management.
