Simon Business School, University of Rochester February 2022
• Invited as an outstanding admitted student to participate a 9-day business case competition to potentially win additional tuition scholarship. Led a team of 4 admitted students to conduct SWOT analysis on a fast-growing hospitality start-up.
• Analyzed the business data provided by the start-up. Discovered its weakness of attracting returning customers. Pinpointed the potential root causes of this weakness by correlating relevant business data. Provided constructive proposals to the startup to attract more returning customers while still maintaining great profit margins.
• Awarded with significantly more tuition scholarship to attend the Simon Business School’s MSBA program, which was eventually given up as I chose to pursue a master degree at Columbia University instead.
