The most important findings were

a.Vulnerabilities in the firewall that could allow an attacker to gain access to the network from the internet remotely

b.Vulnerabilities in the authentications that could allow an attacker to gain access to user accounts, data theft and Personal identifiable information

c.Vulnerabilities in configurations that can allow a threat actor to gain access to Artemis company resources i.e.trade secrets

Tools Used:Various tools were used to detect the vulnerabilities such as Maltego,Reckoning,Sublist3r,The harvester as as various others which were then used with Nmap,Angry IP Scanner, and Wireshark,OpenVas etc.to determine the likely impact a potential breach could have on the company’s operations and reputation. The process taken to solve:Based on the vulnerabilities identified in the target environment the following recommendations are provided:

1.Patch RDP and configure VPN for remote access

2.Implement input validation and parameterized queries to prevent SQL injection attacks 3.Change default password and implement strong password policies 4.Patch Apache web server

5.Implement access controls to restrict access to sensitive data 6.Implement proper access controls and user authentication mechanisms 7.Patch Oracle WebLogic server

8.Implement proper access controls and security group configuration to restrict access to cloud storage 9.Patch Microsoft Exchange server
