Used Service Advisor Reconditioning Director- Keep track of all used cars and services being performed with a spreadsheet keeping track of days turned before sale of the vehicle. Write paperwork on each used car for papertrail of services performed and future services that will be needed in the inspection. Categorize each vehicle into different subsections based on mileage, age, services performed and need for body repairs. Consult with vendors for repairs needed on the cars to bring them back to life regarding paint work, dent removal work, upholstery and windshield repairs are all taken care of and purchase orders created through the reconditioning director. Invoices for vendor work are all sent to the reconditioning director to add to existing work orders or create new ones to pay the vendor. Maintain knowledge of job pay types such as customer, internal and warranty while understanding the difference between them. Reconditioning director pays technicians according to jobs completed and tickets are closed with accurate mark-up. If freshly purchased used cars within the first two months of purchase are brought back, the used car advisor writes the vehicle up for any concerns to find solutions or check history for recurring problems.
