I have worked with the public since my first job as a dental assistant when I was 16 years old. I continued having personal contact with parents, students, teachers and administrators during my 20 years as a school bus driver.

In May 2010 I moved into the transportation office as the lead dispatcher. It was my responsibility to ensure all runs were covered beginning at 6 a.m. and throughout the day. Also, I was responsible for seeing that any students needing special transportation were picked up and delivered in a timely manner. In the summer I was part of the team that would put together the runs for the coming school year. Ensuring over 10,000 students were accounted for in the system. I decided to retire in June 2014 and returned to school to study phlebotomy. I enjoyed my classes and felt that I excelled in my endeavor and I look forward to a rewarding career in this field. I follow directions well but I am also an independent thinker. I enjoy people both young and old and I will strive to make their experience pleasant and as painless as possible.
