DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Take off from the design drawing and prepare BOQ.

Take off from the IFC shop drawings and prepare BOQ, progress payments and final account BOQ.

Ensure that the BOQ descriptions, units, pricing preambles and method of measurements are synchronized.

Monitor Project Budgets.

Assist in the preparation of Monthly Cost Reports.

Prepare Cost Estimates.

Review change orders and assist in the negotiations with the designers and contractors.

Assist in the evaluation of variations, additional work, field changes, additions and omissions.

Assist in establishing and maintaining variations and claims registers.

Verify contractors interim payment applications and measurement sheets in accordance with the approved BOQ and methods of measurement.

Assist in preparing contractual notices and letters to the contractors.

Assist in implementing and maintaining cost control procedures and audit procedures for Project Cost Control.

Evaluate all activities to measure project status during the construction phase and the defects maintenance phase.

Contribute to the site Diary on the cost control.

Visit to site for claim verify
