Responsibilities included but not limited to ..
Maintenance of a multiple acre fuel terminal including steel preparation before applying epoxy coating, pre-prime, and primer to bulk storage tanks, pipeline and valve systems. Oiling and greasing all great fittings in loading rack and pier. Offload barges and ships connecting proper hoses and opening the proper valve set up. Accurate gauging of tanks on the open and close of barges so accurate barrels are determined using gouges, tank charts, temperatures and factors. Operations of loading rack to fill trucks and trailers with heating oil, ultra low sulfer diesel, ultra low sulfer kerosene and methanol using the correct pumps and loading arms, then determined and documented on rack sheet the gallons after subtracting the open and closing meter stamps. Perform Fuel blends and line flushes. Run Fuel Gravities. Compute Daily, monthly, and annual inventory for Morgan and Stanely using opening and closing meter checks,, opening and closing gauges, gallons sold, gallons received, factors, temperatures and water cuts ensuring inventory is accurate and within determined variance. Allocate the terminal operator with the best skill set to finish workload given to myself by the terminal manager.
Sample barges,ships,tanks and water- oil separators accurately following sampling protocol for all of the above containers. Run various tests on petroleum products and water such as gravities and pH balances and Accurately document my findings.
