I helped to organize and oversee the Maintenance Teams in the facility while there the Maintenance manager left after 8 months and I ran the Maintenance department as the acting Manager .while doing this I asked the Vice President to get me some help that I did not have a good support system because I had to let some key people go for bad performance I never got the help I needed to complete the job in the standard that I felt I needed so I told them I would have to go somewhere I felt safer and my guys would not be put in harms way, including all equipment in the operational areas like the Batch, Melting, Sizing, Bushing, and Fiber Forming/Fabrication areas and the equipment in the Maintenance areas including Compressed Air, Natural Gas, Process Water, and Fire Systems. When possible, help the with the daylight operations of the department.

• Partner with other Departments to formulate planned objectives and achieve required work.

• The ability to keep the work and shifts scheduled to achieve plant goals. (Projects and repairs)

• Technical expertise for equipment and maintenance process.

• The ability to help during off hours to help Teams over the phone.

• Supervise and evaluate performance of maintenance personnel

• Determine resources necessary to achieve objectives (manpower, equipment, tools, etc.).

• Manage shifts and vacation coverage.

• Enforce Health and Safety procedures and precautions.

• Implement and maintain the 5s system.

• Maintain all maintenance records in a timely and organized fashion.

• Maintain good relationships with all vendors.

• Be proactive with all chemical uses on site.

• Ensure all water use is applicable to all laws.

• Be proactive on savings and costs and should be proactive on implementation of any plan to do so.

• Should be proactive in preventing any failures of the utility systems in the facility.
