I worked for State Farm Insurance for 31 years. I worked homeowner claims the entirety of my time with State Farm. I began working all types of homeowner claims from fires, thefts, water damaged claims and foundation claims along with wind/hail claims. The last 12yrs I worked as a wind/hail roofing specialist working storm claims in North Texas. I travelled as a member of the storm team working in locations such as Florida (hail and hurricane damages), Colorado and Wyoming(hail claims), Tennessee(tornado and hail claims), California (earthquake damages) and Texas (all types of claims). While working claims in my home territory in North Texas, I was able to manage my time and case load with little to no supervision. I was able to motivate myself to stay on top of my case load without or needing constant supervision.

CLAIM REPRESENTATIVE STATE FARM - FALL 1987 TO MID - SUMMER(JULY) 2018

The first part of my career was handling all types of homeowners claims while travelling on average 100days a year to work various types storm losses including wind/hail, hurricane, tornado, flood and earthquake damages. I travelled full time for a few years working nothing but storm loss from 1996-1997/8. I then worked as a local adjuster handling all type of claims until 2008. I worked as a wind/hail roof specialist from 2008 until 2018 at which time I left the company.

ROOFING SALESMAN /THE ORIGINAL ICS ROOFING COMPANY / AUGUST 2018 - Fall 2020

I worked as a roofing salesman this past year. I would inspect roofs for customers determining if any storm damages, meet adjusters when necessary, negotiate roof settlement and replace roof.
