Responsibilities:
Responsible for reporting the work progress and other developing circumstance to the RE (Resident Engineer) & DCM (Deputy construction manager).
Responsible for interacting with the contractor’s site setup and Managing all site supervisory to ensure construction works are properly carried out.
Examined and approved the contractor’s temporary work and method of construction.
Monitored and inspected all site activities on a daily basis.
Ensured adequate site documentation of work progress/Completion/Changes and maintain it at the appropriate levels and dealt with all relevant correspondences with various parties involved.
Cooperated/liaised with contractor’s agent.
Organized and supervised team of clerk of work to cover all aspect of supervision work and other relevant works.
Instructed staff on the method of construction to be adopted for all aspect of works and recording works.

Maintain quality & quantity of work at site according to drawing, specification, BOQ.
To guide the contractor how to work according to approved Construction Schedule.
Supervised and monitor the step by step construction procedure and see to it that there is no de-standard.
Coordinates with the ME and M&E Engineer for quality inspection and all tests are carried out promptly and timely
Ensures that the work activities conformed to engineering practice and standards by conducting supervision and daily inspection of the project site and recommend necessary modifications or corrections of noted discrepancies.
Checking all form works and steel works before concrete pouring.

Ensuring the correct implementation of the works according to technical specifications, to designs and quality of materials
Checking of layout and setting out of buildings w.r.t. existing structures and site levels.

Checking and testing of completed works before they are covered by the contractor, taking photos on a regular basis and also on account of defective work
