Professional Experience

1. Company: EA Cosultant Pakistan.

Position: Junior Engineer

Client: USAID

Projecr: Karakuram International University Gilgit.

Duration: May 1st 2015- to Dec 2018.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for reporting the work progress and other developing circumstance to the RE (Resident Engineer) & DCM (Deputy construction manager).

Responsible for interacting with the contractor’s site setup and Managing all site supervisory to ensure construction works are properly carried out.

Examined and approved the contractor’s temporary work and method of construction.

Monitored and inspected all site activities on a daily basis.

Ensured adequate site documentation of work progress/Completion/Changes and maintain it at the appropriate levels and dealt with all relevant correspondences with various parties involved.

Cooperated/liaised with contractor’s agent.

Organized and supervised team of clerk of work to cover all aspect of supervision work and other relevant works.

Instructed staff on the method of construction to be adopted for all aspect of works and recording works.

Assisted The RE (Resident Engineer) in the measurement of all works and kept all necessary records.

2. A. WATSUN (Water and Sanitation) Project: (From 1st Jan 2014- 31th Aug 2014):

Responsibilities:

Maintain quality & quantity of work at site according to drawing, specification, BOQ.

To guide the contractor how to work according to approved Construction Schedule.

Supervised and monitor the step by step construction procedure and see to it that there is no de-standard.

Coordinates with the ME and M&E Engineer for quality inspection and all tests are carried out promptly and timely

Ensures that the work activities conformed to engineering practice and standards by conducting supervision and daily inspection of the project site and recommend necessary modifications or corrections of noted discrepancies.

Checking all form works and steel works before concrete pouring.

2. B School Buildings Project: (From 1st January 2012 – 31th Dec 2013)

To guide the contractor how to work according to approved Construction Schedule.

3.Organization: CDM constructor Inc. (USAID Project)

Position: Site Inspector

Duration: 18th Jan 2011 to 31 Dec 2011

Responsibilities:

Ensuring the correct implementation of the works according to technical specifications, to designs and quality of materials

Checking of layout and setting out of buildings w.r.t. existing structures and site levels.

Have a complete understanding of project implementation

Checking and testing of completed works before they are covered by the contractor, taking photos on a regular basis and also on account of defective work

Inspecting and testing materials prior to their use at site as per sample approved by the consultant and ensuring removal of rejected material out from site

To watch and inspect the construction work and assure that it is done in full accordance with the drawings, technical specifications and bills of quantities

Maintain a site order book to be made available for the consultants and senior officers to write comments or defects in construction noticed during site visits and carrying out compliance at site.

Checking the layout of educational facilities and governance sector as per drawing. Also checking/ supervising different stages of buildings such as excavation, anti-termite treatment of foundation, short column below plinth beam, plinth beam, super structure column, lintel beam, roof beam, brick/block masonry and steel truss erection of the structure according to approved drawings and specification.
