DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the safety, efficient operation and maintenance of the vessel’s electrical equipment and machineries.

Responsible for troubleshoot and repair electrical problems of the vessel’s including all alternators/generators, main switchboard panel and motor controllers based on instruction manual and electrical wiring diagram.

Responsible for the efficient operation of all electrical safety devices and parameters of main engine of the vessel.

Responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of air-condition plant and reefer plant of the vessel.

Responsible for the safety, efficient operation of the fire alarm system and water mist system of the vessel.

Responsible for the safety and efficient maintenance of all gas proof, flame proof and intrinsically safe equipment and fully conversant with the relevant codes of practice and maintenance techniques associated with the equipments installed.

Responsible for troubleshoot and calibrate all parameters and instrumentation problems.

Responsible for the efficient maintenance of illumination of the vessel.
