Domain Administrator
During my tenure on USS Momsen, I served as a network administrator and local SME for the CANES network—a classified, Windows-based network of virtual machines. I collaborated with maintenance centers to address fleet-wide issues and gained four years of hands-on experience with CANES and naval network problems. I successfully resolved 18 major network failures and led projects such as the installation of the GCCS-M 4.1.0.3 navigation system, including virtual server creation and interface setup with other onboard systems. I played a key role in implementing the Cyber Warfare program by deploying new Windows and Linux servers and managing security through port scanning and monthly reporting. Additionally, I possess expertise in editing ACLs and navigating CISCO switches and routers for firewall updates. Communication Watch Floor Technician
While serving as a member of the comms watch floor I planned, set up, and troubleshot hundreds of radio circuits in support numerous classified military operations.
