Before ever having read the book, I have operated with a “People Over Profit” mentality. Because I put my customers (and employee's) needs at the forefront, I have been able to garner the blank-check trust of customers across multiple industries. I have been told multiple times that my level of customer service is not found anywhere anymore. This includes a client who had purchased a $26,000 hot tub from me that had a faulty pump the first day. Her response to my apologies was that “She did not buy the spa but my customer service,” as I replaced the pump on a weekend.
Leadership
I have never been ambitious and pursued leadership/managerial roles. Despite this fact, I have been promoted in short order at every company I have been employed with. Most recently, I was asked to take on the property general manager's position by both corporate management and encouraged by fellow staff. This after two short months in the parts position, showcasing the integrity and
trustworthiness I operate with.
