Testing with custom build test fixtures, testing block upconverters (BUCs) and IF boards for gain, tuning for flatness, measuring Phase Noise (PN), Phase Error (PE), and checking for SPURS and recording images from the Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer and the Signal Analyzer for each unit tested. Mark units that failed and return for rework. Test re clocker for signal input and voltages, pass or no pass. Set up burn in for specific units for 12 hours and after burn in test and tune. Set up BUC unit for firmware download, pass or no pass if unable to load firmware, calibrate BUC using a GUI interface for gain, bias and flatness. Measure voltages on test pads, pass or no pass.
