Consultant/Operations Geologist at Hess Exploration & Production
Geo-steered 32 horizontal wells in the Middle Bakken and Three Forks Formations.
Planned Tops and Targets, and the Geoprogs for all wells.
Worked with Petra to build structure maps, predict tops, pick core points, and Terra View for steering.
Worked in their most structurally complicated area of their assets named the Antelope Area.
The Frontline Group 5/2008-9/2012
Consultant/Operations Geologist at Newfield Exploration
Geo-steered 32 horizontal wells in the EagleFord shale.
Went from 34% out of zone in 2010, then 7% in 2011, to less than 1% in 2012.
Worked with SES (Stoner Software) to geosteer, and Geographix for light mapping.
Knowledge and applicable experience with the Geographix program.
Consultant/Operations Geologist at Newfield Exploration MC
Geo-steered 100+ horizontal wells in the Woodford Shale and correlated over 200 more for other outside operators.
Geo-steering oversight and bedding interpretation in the Woodford Shale to minimize exposure to geo hazards, reduce drilling costs, and achieve geologic objectives.
Worked with Petra, Design CAD, and PI Dwights, to correlate, geosteering Woodford horizontals, land curves to natural gas producing wells.
In charge of locating OBO (operated by others) well data, importing the data into Petra, and then correlating the gamma for use as an offset.
