Experience

Riverside Outdoors LLC

Owner/Gunsmith

Jan 2021-July 2022 Weedsport, New York

We opened business in January 2021 after 6 months of planning and filing for business documents and licenses. On April 1st of 2021, we opened our retail location Riverside Outdoors store in Weedsport, NY. We were State and Federally licensed to sell guns and ammunition as well as a full line of accessories, hunting and fishing supplies and products. After a very successful year, we had the unfortunate circumstance of a building fire that was unrelated to our business. The building was damaged beyond reasonable repair. We had no choice but rescinded State and Federal Licenses as the building could not reasonably be brought back up to code within the time frame necessary to continue. Due to State and Federal laws, in June 2021, we were told we needed to rescind our FFL, and complied with the request.
