Academically and professionally astute, diligent, and proactive team leader with substantial experiential knowledge and skills in mental health, and patient care. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with cultural competency and ethical awareness. Unprecedented commitment and endeavor to enhance the quality of life and wellness by proffering unparalleled patient care. I am currently on the transition training program for WellStar. My experience working with the Doctor and nurse practitioner in this program for 300 hours has improved my capacity in mental health. I do consultations with the Doctor at Kennestone hospital and work in inpatient behavioral health at Cobb hospital with the Nurse practitioner. I have been with WellStar health system for 14 years in the acute pulmonary setting and float team. As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, it will be my goal to advocate for patients who struggle to be heard or respected, and to manage their treatment with compassion, understanding, and attention to holistic care.
