1. By my signature below, I authorize Covey Security Services and/or its agents to make an independent investigation of my background, references, character, past employment, education, credit, criminal or police records, including those maintained by both public and private organizations and all public records for the purpose of confirming the information contained on my application and/ or obtaining other information which may be material to my qualifications for employment. If upon investigation, anything contained in this application is found to be false, misleading or detrimental to Covey Security Services’ operation in any way; I understand that I will be subject to dismissal immediately.

I release Covey Security Services and/or its agents and any person or entity, which provides information pursuant to this authorization, from any and all liabilities, claims torts or law suits in regards to the information obtained from any and all of the above referenced sources used. I understand and agree that, if hired, my employment with Covey Security Services is for no definite period and may be terminated at any time for any reason without prior notice (unless a written agreement provides otherwise). Just as I may resign my employment at any time, for any reason, Covey Security Services will have full right and authority to terminate my employment within its sole discretion. I understand and agree that the terms and conditions of my employment, if hired, can be varied from this “at will” agreement through a written document signed by an official of Covey Security Services authorized to make such contracts.
