Project Description: The FRP aims to improve the drainage systems to all hotspots, complaint locations and other known low points within the project areas as well as support and upgrade the storm water infrastructure in readiness for the FIFA World Cup in 2022.The Works comprises the design, construction, testing, commissioning, and handing over of the following works: New Surface Water and groundwater collection network to include micro tunnels and pipes. New gullies and gully connections. Construction of new foul sewer (FS) network where there is no sewer network available. Integrate the new sewer network with the existing foul sewer network, which may require upgrading of the existing sewers. Upgrade the existing undersized/surcharging sewers. Provide House Connection along the newly constructed and existing sewers. Value : QAR 296,000,000/=

Consultant/Client (Ashghal) : KAME + Public Works Authority Job Description ; Ensure Project Team understand their area of responsibilities and execute their given tasks efficiently and diligently to achieve the objectives of the Projects. Plan, schedule, organize and supervise smooth running of the Projects and delegate authorities to Project team & ensure, proper and effective use of manpower, equipment and other resources & timely preparation and submission of progress valuations. Ensure that Projects keep updated the contract files during the Project duration and documentation and correspondences are filed and they are readily available at short notice. Ensure timely submission of Contract details and material, follow up approval, placing orders etc. Coordinate with Clients representative / Consultants and take timely corrective action required for all Projects issues to ensure cordial relations and to follow up and agree with them on variations and site instructions and execute proper documentation / correspondence to ensure the conditions of contract in coordination with H/O.

Have regular meetings with Project Engineers & Site Engineers to implement programs and progress of work and closely monitor the usage of manpower, equipment and materials to ensure that the job costs do not exceed the budgeted target and the work done is promptly measured included in monthly valuations. Maintain & ensure that the QHSE Policies, IMS Objectives and IMS Procedures are implemented to achieve Client satisfaction.

Arrange Periodical Performance Appraisal of Projects Staffs & Workers & submit recommendations to HR Department.
