Security Officer Monadncock Community Hospital
During this two year period I was in the 9 bed
Emergency Department about 70% of the time
dealing with psychiatric patients who were waiting for placement in psychiatric facilities. We were
looked to for de-escalating stressful situtaions with patients who were intoxicated were in crisis with
drug overdoses.

Started in 1979 as a split security officer / evening mechanic. after two years I was hired as a full time evening mechanic. The hospital sent me to trade
school to get my electrical license which i
completed in 1988. I worked as an electrician for 7 years at which time I was promoted to the Off hour Supervisor. After 7 years I was again promoted to
be the Supervisor of Internal Construction. I asked to take a Night Electrician job after a year and a half which I did until my retirement. My main
responsibility at that point was to maintain a 65
station pnuematic tube sytem which carried blood
and medicine throughout our 365 bed facility.

Embalmer 6/1973 - 3/1975
I got my EMT license and I was position. I
completed 1000 ambulance runs. 70% were
tranfers and the remaining 30% were emergency
runs. While at the funeral home I completed my
embalming apprenticeship.
