Developed, created and wrote apps to perform tasks as required.

·Designed and wrote bash scripts to transferextract log entries as defined by legal and audit teams from IBM QRADAR logging system and then inserted logs into SPLUNK, enabling system decommissioning and saving $5M in maintenance cost per contract period.

·Worked on team to identify and define all devices connected to network and populate inventory system with configuration item (CI) info, writing Python app to create system using vendor scanning tool to initially identify devices.

oPython app used raditMQ to pass job info containing parameters for task, determining multiple characteristics for each CI and populating inventory system with data of over 200K otherwise unclassified devices.

·Migrated apps to Docker-based containers, allowing for fast deployment as needed and implementation to production system after testing completion.

·Supported alarm setup for network devices / systems, preventing network outages by identifying possible causes and accelerating restoration. Aided company in meeting core goals of customer satisfaction and 99.999% up-time.

Network Design Engineer II 2005 - 2021

Designed, deployed and managed all network devices and any supporting systems.

·Created, wrote and implemented web-based system, allowing engineers to deploy devices and update all network tooling systems via web within 10 minutes.
