I am self- motivated and an autodidact. I have over 8 years' experience with the procedural and legal aspects for personal injury, immigration and family law related cases. However, when I am faced with a legal procedure that I am not familiar with, I do not burden the attorney by asking questions for answers that can be found by conducting my own thorough research. My job is to remove the unnecessary burden of the attorney's workload, not add on to it. Working as a freelance paralegal for the past three years, I have gained experience with drafting and filing a wide range of legal documents such as demands, motions, complaints/petitions, and filing USCIS forms Furthermore, I am not timid when it comes to dealing with certain legal or administrative matters for the first time because I exercise caution and perform due diligence from the beginning to the end. I am always eager to learn new legal procedures and documents, and tailor them to favor the client's legal matter at hand. There is a big difference with a paralegal who think they know everything and a paralegal who is willing to diligently learn anything. I am the latter.
