Professional Experience

CHRONOS DIGITAL LLC, Digital Ar st and Archaeological Consultant, 2019 to present. Performed a variety of tasks including 3D scanning and modeling of objects for commercial 3D prin ng and fine art, as well as crea ng animated visualiza ons of architectural plans for a planned museum in Northern Arizona. Also dra ed plans for the renova on and remodeling of homes in the Tucson Area. Currently providing digital design services for Patrinato de San Xavier and leading the effort to map and record the Patagonia Community Cemetery for the Town of Patagonia and the Patagonia Museum. ARCHAEOLOGY SOUTHWEST, Tucson, AZ 2000 – 2018, Digital Public Archaeologist and Visualiza on Specialist.

Conducted archaeological and historical research on ancient and historic places using new media technologies, 3D modeling, and virtual reality. U lized informa on gathered and models created to educate public audiences about the history and prehistory of the American Southwest. Led the planned rebuilding of the San Agus n Mission and the reconstruc on of the Presidio de Tucson by conduc ng and presen ng archaeological reconstruc on. ARIZONA STATE MUSEUM And the University of Arizona Department of Anthropology, Tucson, AZ 1986 – 2000, Archaeological Laboratory Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant Served as technical editor for the museum’s archaeological series publica on. Handled all related tasks, including desktop publishing, CAD mapping and graphic design. Conducted field research with the Homol’ovi Research Program. During this me, I also taught classes and public programs at the high School, undergraduate and graduate levels.

FIELD ARCHAEOLOGIST, Various Loca ons 1988 to 2019 During this period of me I also conducted field archaeological inves ga ons at the Saratoga Batlefield Na onal historic Park, various Civil War sites in Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina, historic Sugar Planta ons in Puerto Rico, a Bronze Age Citadel in Ar k, Armenia, the site of the first contact between Spanish explorer Pizzaro with South American indigenous popula ons on the coast of central Ecuador, as well as working as a forensic recovery expert in loca ng and recovering the remains of United States Marine MIAs from a World War II batlefield on the Pacific island of Be o in the Tarawa Atoll.
