Design Coordinator May 2017- Present

Working in consultation with Comcast Lead Construction Engineers for the Beltway and Bay Shore Groups as well as Comcast project managers and Comcast business partners to ensure Construction deadlines and Fiber ready dates are met.

Representing Design Department in weekly meetings with Comcast Partners and Tech 3 engineers to determine issues of concern which could delay Site completions.

Reviewing Frequency Reports weekly with Comcast construction Managers, determining issues if any and correcting them.

Researching and monitoring Wavelength Escalations.

Completing Tie Maps and illustrating Tie-points for Fiber construction Teams

Performing SMR’s when necessary so construction teams can correct issues that could result in outages and other issues.

Managing Comcast Design Houses, and making sure all recent data is accessible to Comcast management and Construction Partners, (i.e.: Longitude & Latitude, City, State, County, downstream and upstream frequencies, Headend and OTN, Mux locations, Tie points, Cell Towers and CXC’s when utilized.

Being proactive is a must and having good research skills is extremely necessary. Most importantly, meeting Comcast Deliverable responsibilities and FRD dates are vital to maintaining good working relationships and associations with Comcast Partners and Customers which is something that I do on a daily basis

Perform quality control, locate and distribute fiber optic designs to field coordinators and project managers

Handle Fiber Optic Construction production calls on a weekly basis for Beltway North, NOVA, Southern VA, PA, GBA and the Bayshore Group

Site visits daily, and if necessary walking out the actual route to be utilized in the process of pulling coaxial cable from POE maintenance hole into main telecommunications room of site.

Locate and attach appropriate files to incoming correspondence requiring replies.

Making cost estimations and submitting them to Comcast for design personnel.

Completed a number of projects with Decisive Communications, these projects consisted of mapping using Bentley software, determining take off points, and equipment to be utilized and insuring contractors had access to necessary equipment. These projects consisted of working through designing and running fiber to hospitals and cameras for speed traps for highway administration.

Using the Bentley software we were also able to determine when node segmentation could be necessary or optional, which allowed us the knowledge of footage of coax or fiber, where points of entry would be, and if conduit is existing or not.

Included CAD updates from sketches and new connection information descriptions to input locations, recording number and other data into computer databases.

Recommended thorough tasks and responsibilities to reduce design and construction costs.

MDU Technician Coordinator October 2010- December 2014

Supervised 3 different contractor crews from the Virginia, Maryland and Philadelphia areas. Managed 15 people at once from those specific areas.

Project was based in Springfield VA. In assistant living complex with 2000 units called Green spring assistant living.

Oversaw MDU’s and technicians on a daily basis.

Scheduled appointments for installations making sure each technician was ready for each unit and on time.

Maintained databases and make sure appointments were detailed and scripted for either individual or handicap installation.

Facilitated equipment needed from aim-meters for direct TV to swim systems and even multi switches. Installed one sate little for each building, ordering equipment from Perfect 10.

Used diplex to help tenants would be able to use cable or Direct TV as easy as possible.

Comcast Philadelphia, PA

MDU Technician April 2002-September 2010

Installed lock boxes and ran Coax cabling to ensure best service quality for tenants.

Worked along a lead technician installing wires and underground servicing for quicker bandwidth of cables.

Would traveling anywhere on the east coast to make sure all services were upgraded and kept up with changing speeds of Comcast.
