Support and assist the Manager and Supervisor with the management of the daily workflow and functions. Trouble shoots for Specialists and other groups. Supports the receipt, retrieval, and distribution processes within Aircraft Records, serves as a subject matter expert for the Records team, works directly with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, IT and other internal groups when records are needed, coordinates records requests as needed, distributes and retains documents as required by FAA policy, supports onboarding of new specialists in Aircraft Records, collaborates with management to update the policies and procedures in department and desk manuals, ensures timely, accurate and synchronized administrative processes within Aircraft Records, supports the project management of records process overhauls, lean six sigma implementation, and technology upgrades, supports headcount tracking, headcount projections, lost time and overtime trends and troubleshoots issues with the processes, coordinates Workbrain requirements and entries, provides project coordination, travel arrangements, meeting coordination as needed by the team, completes other assignments and projects as directed by the Supervisor or Manager. Important part of the Migration team when merging to new records keeping system.
Specialist Aircraft Records (March 2015 to November 2017)
Ability to scan, index, and audit records into AirVault. Able to read and understand a T-5, set up and track Service Bulletins, ECOs, and ADs. Set up and do the Sr. Specialist audits for the ME0800s. Build spare engines in STC. Create, attach and detach parts in STC. Work and audit multiple fleets. Offer ideas and suggestion on how to make processes work more efficiently. Resolve complicated issues by working directly with Engineering, Planning, Line Maintenance, and QA. Research and back to birth for Lease Sold New group. Responsible for writing SOPs and training guides, keeping them updated and current. Assists in training and mentoring Specialists within the organization. Ensure that the current workflow is evenly distributed. Complete assignments and projects as directed by supervisor and/or manager. Fill in for Supervisor when absent.
Technical Assistant (April 1999-March 2015)
Responsible for assisting engineering staff with research, analysis, and reports.
Update Mechanic Qualifications per GPM Section 19, Enter training completions into Fastraack Audit/Review Training Rosters submitted by Instructors. Provide system wide monthly required training stats to Management. Act as Help Desk for M&E Training Records; provide system access assistance to employees and contractors. Train Technica. Collector (August 1997- April 1999)
Attained both, orally and in writing, the collection of funds due American Airlines from travel agencies. Determined if travel agencies around the world had paid AA the correct amount for booking on AA flights by applying Internation IATA rules. Responsible for pulling the plates, as needed, from Travel Agencies that refused to pay on past due accounts.
Passenger Tariff Clerk (August 1995-August 1997)
Primary duties included the application of International passenger tariff and industry settlement rules to assign accurate billing values to other airline tickets honored by American and to audit the value of American tickets honored and billed by other airlines.
