Job Responsibilities:

Project Management:

Ensure the Project is running efficiently to the required standard of quality in compliance with international codes, standards and project specifications and within the specified constraint of time and cost.

Following the progress of the schedule and the coordination in the schedule of contractors.

Anticipating and accountable for variation claim.

Ensures that the services of sub-contractors and major construction equipment required by the project are available at the appropriate time to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.

Establishes assignments for construction superintendents, site engineers for various work areas of construction operations, monitoring progress and recommending corrective actions as necessary. P a g e 3

Two week look ahead schedule for determine the problem areas and takes preventative action to ensure that critical milestones are met for each phase of the project.

Supervising all contractual issues with the contractors and follow up the contractor’s inspection requests and non-conformities reports.

Prepares periodic reports summarizing progress of construction activities for higher level management and clients, including formal presentations

Validate all the contractor’s submittals and quality control plans produced by contractors.

Coordinate the activities of all contractors hired by the owner and ensure that any materials, to be supplied by the contractor under the conditions of the contract, are ordered well in advance in accordance with the approved project schedule and contract terms.

Examine and applies the contractor’s site logistic plan.

Deal with all the obstacles and difficulties, which may lead to delay the project.

Ensuring good internal coordination between Engineers, Inspectors, and Admin staff.

Organizing internal and external site meetings.

Attends pre-construction and coordination meetings as support to the Construction Manager and organizes the weekly progress meetings and reports.

Ensure accurate field records are being maintained such as: daily reports, test reports, and as-built drawings. Daily review of project documentation.

Implement and ensures personnel safety by following the project and company health and safety guidelines and policies.

Frequently checks the quality of structural works to ensure compliance with the contract specification requirements, method statements, and approvals.

Review structural shop drawings in coordination with all disciplines such as architectural, electrical, and mechanical requirements of contract drawings and project specifications.

Respond to contractor's queries and submittals. Coordinate with design Office if additional design information is required.

Review and comment on contractor’s method of statements, quality plans, and safety plans for the projects.

Structural Design:

Design structures for residential and commercial buildings, industrial sheds, labor accommodations, parking structures, and villas, which comply with the strength, functional, safety, durability, and economical criteria, established for the project.

Attends all design meetings and other meetings with various parties (clients, suppliers, statutory authorities, other disciplines) to clarify and/or confirm design requirements, obtain information, and ensure that the design facets of the project are being correctly progressed.

Effectively analyze the technical aspects of the design to ascertain the implications of design decisions related to the use of modern technologies. P a g e 4
