OBJECTIVE

Schnitzer (Cascade) Steel Mills, McMinnville, Oregon Sr. Electrical Project Manager assignment through Manpower Inc. March 2023-July 2023

● Manage to modernize and upgrade medium and high-voltage industrial power systems and SCADA projects for Electric Arc Furnace and Steel Rolling Mill, I had initially designed and approved during the 1990s. Coordinate with engineers, consultants, vendors, electricians, and stakeholders, projects from proposals, filed review, job walk, and implementation. Maintain weekly progress status and forecast reports on Excell data to modernize relaying and power control communications.

2. City of Portland Columbia Waste Water Treatment Plant Modernization- engineering, design for field lighting, power, PLC controls, and fire protection, securities, and alarms engineering consultant to the Century West Engineering team.

Cascade Steel Rolling Mills, McMinnville, Oregon – Assist Danieli, an Italian Design-Build construction firm with medium-voltage 13.5 KV indoor and high-voltage 230 KV outdoor substations, power distribution, relaying controls, and wiring diagrams. Coordinated with the State of Oregon Building Department and procured approval of Italian products to IEEE, NEC, and ANSI OSHA standards, site construction coordination, and management. I traveled to Italy to coordinate electrical system design development documents of Italian design-build team and approval as an Oregon registered professional engineer.

4. STC Submarine Inc., Portland, Oregon- Design and construction of submarine telecommunications fiberoptic cables manufacturing facility. Review and coordinate IDC design and electrical one-line and PLC diagrams for machinery transported from Southampton, UK with STC as a client representative.

5. Pacific Power and Light Company – Managed Design and construction documents and estimates for 34.5 kV/115 kV Cody, Wyoming substation upgrade including high-voltage transformers, switches, and relaying switchgear replacement.

6. Port of Portland, Portland, Oregon - Design of Telecommunications routing and Airplane Noise-Testing facility. Perform construction review of the runway deicing liquid collection system electrical power, lighting, and PLC control documents for comments and corrections.

7. Intel Corporation, Aloha, Oregon - Modernization projects for Portland Technology Development (PTD1) manufacturing facility backed by standby generator. Review and approve state of the art advanced technology machinery and motor control center power and control wiring and interconnections with electrical panels.
