Input insurance applications for the numerous types of insurance offered to City, County, State and other Municipalities. Interacted with agents for missing or incorrect information on the applications. Created transmittals for applications being sent to underwriting. Reviewed reports from insurers regarding premiums, and made corrections as necessary. Cancelled products, changed beneficiaries, changed names, added dependents and sent out benefit statements for these changes. Scanned and renamed all of these instances. Maintained files for the applications and other forms for as long as requested. Mailed out Certificates of Insurance for all new products and any changes made to the products. Communicated with City Controller’s Office on non-payroll deductions to resolve these issues. Updated status of insured when deceased and dealt with deleting products or, if active insurance, sending to claims to verify cause of death.
