At Supreme Integrated Technology, my current title is Quality Inspector. While I am responsible for the usual tasks of an inspector, I also perform many other tasks beyond my job description. I am the point of contact for internal, ISO, and customer audits at the Cutten rd. facility, Harahan, and Houma locations. My role is to navigate the auditor through our quality management system and review the audits findings to issue CIPs and or NCRs depending on the severity of the findings. I monitor the CIPs and NCRs to ensure they are properly documented, and that any corrections are implemented and effective. I source and audit new vendors to ensure they meet our supply chain requirements and assist in maintaining our Approved supplier list to rate and rank our vendors based on performance. I assist in scheduling operational maintenance and maintaining service and inspection records. I am responsible for ensuring procedures, work instructions and forms are efficient and effective. Accurately reflecting the work, the technicians and mechanics are performing on the production floor. If any shortcomings or discrepancies are discovered, I will revise or create new documents and or establish and implement training to ensure compliance. I take part in Design reviews; I review customer requirements and ensure all expectations are met. If necessary, I work with Project Management and Engineering to create job/customer ITP / QP, testing procedures and work instructions. I travel to vendor locations to perform source inspections of fabrication, coating, and testing facilities.
