Bender Painting was a great company to work for . I had to leave company due to both my parents where in hospital dying . We did restoration work for most of the big restoration companies ( Belfore, On side, Canstar, Barckly) fire, floods, insurance work . Here I learned from top painters who have been with the company for 30 years ...tough foremens who made you work hard to earn their respect . The company had 30 employees some drywallers, some painters . We sometimes helped the drywallers and sometimes they helped the painters . We did drywall mudding, tapping, insulation and painting ... Here I learned everything, I mastered all skills of the painting trade . Of course masking, caulking, tapping, are all skills of there own as well as mastering ladders And learning safety comes first . Foremen preferred to work with me as I always work hard and I'm good at what I do . After a couple of years I was given a company van and gas card, and Bender painting card employee card to show when picking up paint at the paint stores.
