This letter confirms our offer of employment for the position of Team Member – 3rd Shift for Gestamp Chelsea, reporting to Angel Snyder, Shift Supervisor. Your anticipated start date will be April, 2022, and will be contingent upon successful completion of your background check and other pre-employment screenings (i.e. pre-employment physical/drug screen). Specific details of our offer include:
Compensation
Your base compensation for this position is $16.00 per hour. Employees working 3rd shift also receive $0.75 per hour as shift premium. This position is non-exempt position for purposes of federal wage-hour law, which means that you will be eligible for overtime pay for hours worked over 40 during your regular work week. Benefits
Gestamp offer a competitive benefits plan that includes low-cost prescription drugs, with medical premiums shared by employees and the company. We also offer life insurance that provides coverage valued at one and a half times your annual salary at no cost to you, with voluntary life insurance available should you desire greater coverage. You may insure your eligible dependents under the guidelines of the plan as well. Your medical, dental, and vision benefits will be effective on date of hire as long as enrollment requirements are fulfilled.
You have 30 days from your date of hire to make benefit elections.
You may also participate in our company 401(k). Currently, the plan offers a 100% match on the first 3% of your eligible compensation contributed to the plan, and a 50% match on the next 2% of your eligible compensation contributed to the plan with immediate vesting. You may choose to roll a current qualified plan balance into the Gestamp 401(k) to avoid penalties.
Vacation/Holidays
Gestamp Chelsea provides thirteen (13) paid holidays each calendar year.
You will be eligible for sixty four (64) hours of vacation and twelve (12) hours of PTO time in 2022.
