Maintenance Engineer

Coordinating with project manager and designated supervisor to carry out installation and maintenance of drive components e.g gearbox, motor, fluid and rubber couplings, bearings etc. Installation and maintenance of transport chain conveyors, belt conveyor, chain sprockets and drum rollers. Liase with designated supervisor to carry out installation and maintenance of centrifugal pumps. Monitoring the packaging plant and carrying out installation and maintenance of weighers, calibration of weighers and weight adjustments, maintenance of stitchers and packaging line and also carrying out repair and replacement of pneumatic cylinders of the weighing pan.

Monitoring the discharge line and carrying out condition based maintenance on the discharge line from the port to silos to ensure smooth flow of materials.

Facilitating facility maintenance of equipment inspecting, cleaning and carrying out maintenance including unblocking the drainage system to avoid contamination of materials handled. Developed quality control procedures, implemented quality assurance and conducted regular inspection of discharge line to ensure smooth running of production. Carrying out vibration analysis of the drive components e g (gearbox, motor and bearings) and implementing new methods to minimize vibration.

Installation of ballards and boom barriers.
