Stayed at home with my grandmother Charlotte until she passed last October some of the duties I provided as her caregiver included bathing her cooking her meals and providing house cleaning services. I made sure her sugar was regularly tested and monitored and that her medicine was administered both at the correct time and adjusted to the right dosage as her insulin was dependent upon her testing levels. Ran all necessary shopping and bill paying errands as well as anything else she may have needed. Although she is no longer with me I felt during those years it was best that I care for her than to ever let her be removed from her home it was a lot of work, but, the time I gained and the memories alone were worth every second. Greeted customers,inquired beverage and meal orders. Then entered them in a computer program so they could then be transfered to kitchen . Once the meals were prepared delivered all food and beverages while completing any and all requests from the guest. Rendering payments from the guest to handle transactions and made change when necessary for the guest . If their were any complaints resolved them by problem solving any way we could to promptly correct the situation by recooking or bill adjustments so that the guest had a satisfying time, consistently delivering the best experience possible by attentively caring for customers. Both a working manager ; doubling as server and dining room manager it required abilities to create schedules perform interviews for any and all hiring for front of house staff,and submitting payroll. If apon evaluation it was found necessary my duty was then to either fire or hold employees accountable for any misconduct or general problems we were having . If ; due to call off's or any reason, there had been shifts that were open, uncovered, or ill-staffed it was expected for me to work those shifts; often leading to several doubles and even; at times, having to cook to cover back of house staff. Promptly responded to any and all concerns or complaints and I was the one who completed the training of any new employees making them aware of our policies expectation and in general all the workings of the restaurant . I enjoyed this job very much but this is when my grandmother began to be too ill to take care of herself

I included in my work history the years I remained at home and cared for my grandmother this has been the last several years of my life but I am ready to return to work I have reliable transportation and am available for any shift as my schedule is completely free and I have no other obligations!
