Program Manager, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles UAV Systems 2019 – Present

Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), also known as drones, are being widely used and have gained significant attention in the last decade. UAV cutting edge technologies involves many engineering diciplines such as Mechanical, Electronic, Computer Science, Materials.

I have technical knowledge of UAV systems and components, including hardware, software, and avionics. These are flight control computer, sensors, GPS systems, RF signals and equipments. Mission systems such as EO/IR Camera, Synthetic Approach Radars, Electronical Warfare systems and Radio. In order to implement these type of system into UAV, design studies are scheduled from conception to completion. I am using any specific tools and software, such as Teamcenter PLM, Doors, Jira etc. As program manager, I am managing not only below engineering disciplines also finance, quality, customer management and resource management.

Mechanical Engineering: designing and optimizing UAV structures, propulsion systems, and aerodynamics for maximum efficiency and performance.

Electronic Engineering: Proficient in designing and integrating UAV avionics, power systems, and communication equipment for reliable and secure operation.

Computer Science: Software development for UAV flight control, data analysis, and mission planning using programming languages such as C++, Python, and MATLAB.

Materials Engineering: Experienced in selecting and testing materials for UAV components to ensure durability, weight reduction, and cost-effectiveness.

Systems Engineering: Knowledgeable in systems engineering principles and tools for managing complex UAV projects and ensuring system reliability and safety.

Managing the most complex export delivery program that is the first export program in TAI. Working in different location to manage all delivery and implementation process collaboration with customer, subcontractors, governments and engineering teams. I am managing 2 big delivery programs for North African countries. The budget is more than 300 Million USD. 1st program will be comleted successfully soon. There are more than 100 engineers from all engineering diciplines.

Each customer’s UAV are customized according to their defence concept. So, each UAV need to be configurated for their requirement. As program manager, I not only deliver COTS product also implement new systems such as EO/IR Camera, Radar, Electronical Warfare, Radio, Propulsion System (for customer environment conditions)

In order to manage these huge programs, I am defining and communicating project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis; along with setting and continually managing project expectations. Communicating with manufacturing staff, production control, purchasing, finance, and quality to support on time delivery. Coordinate with customers to identify opportunities. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential delays, and devise contingency plans. Program management activities including coordination & communication with prime contractor, sub-contractor and customer. Provide concise reports to management on status, potential issues, risks, and solution recommendations.

Tangent International - Dominica

Service Delivery Manager / Project Manager, 2018 – April 2019

Manage highly technical projects through all phases of life cycle, including requirements gathering, risk analysis, project planning, scheduling, testing, defect tracking, management, and reporting including E2E (turnkey) projects. Handle project scope and oversight for wireless network solutions including the review of daily status reports. Liaise with sales account teams on project scope, timelines, resource allocation, and executive leadership on resolving escalated issues. Develop statement of work, propose budgets, and manage expense reports. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide project guidance and oversight.

Key Achievements:

Successfully developed and maintained key contract documents including contract management plan, risk register, and contract reporting packs.

Generated accurate workload forecasts to support resource planning initiatives.

Managing and completing E2E project on time

Huawei Technologies Co Ltd. – Istanbul, 2015 – 2018

Project Manager, 2016 – 2018

Oversaw all aspects of a new telecom site implementation project including managed a team of subcontractors. Formulated the project budget; developed forecast, project scope, and the work-breakdown structure plan; and monitored risk, issues, and generated reports. Liaised with stakeholders and guided all program level risks and issues.

Successfully implemented the overall project, structure, strategy and approach.

Defined, implemented, and managed the project governance to ensure effective reporting and communication guidelines were met.

Project Control Manager, PMO 2015 – 2016

Recruited to plan, track, and manage the successful deployment of implementation program. Developed project status, risk and layout, control budget, and developed forecasts. Coordinated monthly manpower update meetings and distributed reports for management review.

Ford Motor Company – Istanbul

Lead Program Management Engineer, 2009– 2015

Led all aspects of China truck program management initiatives including program control, planning, studio process, resource management, product development, and team communications and cadence. Managed program milestones. Developed VPP and timing, change management, prototype planning, managed tool orders, AVBOM process and releases, and PST meeting and Integrator. Liaised with senior management and cross-functional teams on project scope.

Key Achievement:

Instrumental in achieving milestone / gateway deliverables on-time and with quality, manage trade-offs between function, attributes, appearance and costs, manage events / communications, CPE decision forum and resolving cross-functional team issues.
