I have extensive experience in many aspects of business operations sales, and customer service, including business management, employee supervision, and customer relations, and desire to locate a position which will effectively make use of these skills, as well as my extensive computer experience, ability to work independently, and excellent organizational abilities. I build good rapport with my customers, and my learning curve in acquiring new information is a very short one. My approach to sales is a consulting one, as I endeavor to determine the genuine needs of the customer, and to match them as closely as possible with the products and services that are available. As a custodian over the years, I was responsible for cleaning and floor care at the original Carson Tahoe Hospital on Mountain St. (long before the new one was built), at Ochre Court (an 1800’s mansion in Newport, RI that served as the administration building for Salve Regina College), at a high school, and at a big box store. I was also responsible for all cleaning and maintenance when managing at A&W Restaurants for 13 years, and at Schwan’s Sales for two years.
I graduated from High School in 1978 at Douglas High,in Minden, NV., and have a Bachelor’s of BusinessAdministration Degree, with a major in Management, fromAlmeda University.
While at Schwan’s, a wide variety ofcourses have been completed, both online at Schwan’sUniversity and in person at training sessions, dealingwith interpersonal relations, employee management andmotivation, OZ Principles (taking personal accountability for success), Situational Leadership (effectively assessing the readiness levels of others, and applying the correct management style and/or approach for the best possible results), and other topics relating to sales and management.
I have extensive experience with Windows-based systems and software, ranging from DOS to Windows 10. I have experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, and a wide variety of other software tools and programs.
