Hi, my name is Austin. I am 41 years old, and a resident of Alaska. I started my working life at the age of 15 working for my father’s company in Power Generation, Coal Mines, and Industrial Maintenance.

I like to work, I get along well with others, I’m easy to get along with, and I enjoy being a contributing member of a team.

You will notice a gap in my work history. This was due to me going to college, after a car accident in 2014.

Delta Constructors- Electrical FCO

January 2023-Present

Commissioning Industrial electrical systems, on new construction sites for ConocoPhillips, on the North Slope.

My responsibilities include inspecting the integrity of electrical systems, confirming continuity circuits, function checks, calibrations, record keeping, and confirming all drawings are up to date.

Golden Valley Electric Association- EI&C Technician.

November 2021- January 2023

Troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and control systems.

My responsibilities included troubleshooting, and maintaining the companies DCS System. Calibrations of critical, and none critical instrumentation. Troubleshoot, and maintain PLC Systems. Troubleshooting, and maintaining Emission Control System. Troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical systems all around the plant.

I left Golden Valley after they decided to close the plant.

Meridain Controls- Direct Controls Digital Technician.

January 2021-Noverber 2021

I am trouble shooting, and programming HVAC control systems.

I took the Job with Meridain Controls due to the oil prices dropping off, due to COVID. It was not a good fit for me. However, I worked hard for them, learned, and excelled in the company. There was no hard feeling when I decided to leave.

Quadco-Instrumentation Technician.

February 2020-January 2021

I was responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining all NOV equipment that the Drilling Contractor has rented/purchased. The equipment includes Level Sensors, Gas Detectors, SCADA Systems, Auto-Drillers, TD and DW Encoders.

My time with Quadco ended as a result of the economy/oil prices dropping off.

CANRIG- Integrated Rig Control Specialist (IRCS Tech)

December 2018-Febuary of 2020

I was responsible for troubleshooting Rig controls circuits, and troubleshooting all electrical circuits. To include motors, starters, relays, generator controls, 24V circuits, to lighting circuits.

I worked between West Texas, and North Dakota mostly. Servicing all types of Rigs Nabors has.

I resigned from Nabors Drilling due to the work load. I was working 3 weeks on, and a 5 day off schedule. The schedule was hindering my ability to have a life. Also, I took an opportunity to go back to Alaska, which is where I am from.

Hewlett-Packard-Process Engineer (I&C Technician) + Life Safety Tech.

January of 2017–December of 2018

I was responsible for maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting process equipment: such as Industrial Waste Water System, Acid Scrubber/Exhaust systems, and various controls for process environment, fuel storage/levels/spill detection systems. I was also responsible for calibrating, and troubleshooting Life Safety Equipment: such as gas detection systems, acid exhaust systems, flame detection systems, and fire alarm systems.

2012–2014

I was responsible for responding to Rig service calls. I mainly trouble shot motors, motor starters, lighting circuits, and performed DC drive inspections.
