Professional Experience:

Kryptauri Westlake Village, CA Senior Systems Engineer 4 (9/19 to Present) I work for a government contractor. I Support the EIES initiative at the Enterprise level. I am a member of the Desktop Engineering team. I started the contract supporting application packaging. When the Peripheral Hardware Lead position became available. I was asked to take the position. I oversee vulnerability testing, and configuring new hardware, including tablets, monitors, workstations, and new printers for integration in various secure networks. My position has challenged me to engineer solutions to tackle the new updated bios setups of today’s new computers. My area of responsibility is at the Enterprise level.

I am also a resource for the Enterprise Asset Manager, Desktop Support team, the Cyber team, and

many other commands that require the most secure integration and best computer hardware equipment to complete their missions. I also organize and maintain a database in which testing, and inventory status is available 24/7.

I Integrate updates and applications into the Win 10 and 11 OS compatible environment in support of the desktop build.

I also update and troubleshoot drivers for workstations and peripherals needed for various networks. And I add those drivers to the SCCM task sequence.

Development documentation required for acceptance and formal approval of builds through engineering and security activities. Support enterprise-level Windows patching initiatives using Microsoft-proprietary patching tools. Research and provide solutions for all Windows patch-related problems, to include application-specific and 3rd-party patches. Provide tier 3 desktop build support for hardware and software. Provide hardware and software testing for new software, and hardware. I package both physical and virtual software installation packages. This includes testing and deployment of software application packages using SCCM 2012.

I am also the DTO officer which is an additional no additional pay duty.

Kemtechnology Washington, D.C. Senior Systems Engineer (11/16 to Sept/19) I work for a government contractor. I Support the EIES initiative at the Enterprise level. I am a member of the Desktop Engineering team. I am the lead for Peripheral Hardware testing. I am in charge of vulnerability testing, and configuring new hardware, including tablets, monitors, workstations, and new printers for integration in various secure networks. My positon has been elevated due to higher security requirements. My area of responsibility is at the Enterprise level.

FCN Technology Solutions Inc Rockville, MD Windows Desktop Engineer (5/10 to 12/13) I work for a government contractor. I Support the Common Desktop Build initiative. Integrate updates and applications into the standard XP and Win 7 OS. Development documentation required for acceptance and formal approval of builds through engineering and security activities. Support enterprise-level Windows patching initiatives using Microsoft-proprietary patching tools. Research and provide solutions for all Windows patch-related problems, to include application-specific and 3rd-party patches. Provide tier 3 desktop build support for hardware and software. Provide hardware and software testing for new software. Assist in rolling out testing and deployment of software application packages using SCCM 2007.

GMSI, INC Washington, DC; Project Lead, Technical Support Specialist (5/04 to 5/10) I work for a government contractor providing technical support for key systems located in the National Military Command Center located at the Pentagon. I Managed and Trained a staff of 10 technicians. We provide 24/7 troubleshooting, desktop support, cable manufacturing, crypto repair, system and software support for key systems vital to the operation of the National Military Command Center. We repair software and hardware on systems. Our section replaced fulltime Air Force technicians. We have successfully supported the NMCC for 6 years. My position requires TS/SCI clearance.

Mindbank Consulting, Mclean Va; Network Systems Installer (6/02- 5/04) I worked for a government contractor installing and upgrading network systems. Presently supporting FBI field offices all over the country. About 600 users to date. Upgrading operating systems as well as routers. We inventory and install Dell Systems into a Secure multi-server based network. We also install Win2000. We connect workstations to their Novell network. We set up the configurations for the network cards install protocols input gateway, IP, and server information and test for connectivity. We also connect systems to Cicsco routers, replacing network cards as well as troubleshooting existing systems and system integration. This included installation of HP laser printers. My position requires TS/SCI clearance. Was recently asked to join the Windows 2000 Server team.

Best Buy of Laurel, Laurel MD; Tech Supervisor (6/01-6/02) In charge of a tech bench for the largest volume store in Maryland 60$ million in revenue. Supported 120 users in house. We perform upgrades, repairs and installations on systems old and new. I installed modems, network cards, ram, hard drives, cdroms, floppy drives, sound cards, video cards, scsi cards, printers, dvds, zip drives, power supplies, and usb ports. I installed the following operating systems on old and new systems, Win 95, 98, ME, 2000, and XP home and professional version. I also installed the following internet providers, AOL, MSN, Earthlink and Prodigy. Installed software, including troubleshooting software glitches on the following, MS Office Suite,

which includes PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, also Speak and write, Norton Antivirus, MacAfee, all types of games, WinZip, Peachtree and many other accounting programs. We also performed backups for all types of systems. We repaired and installed software on approximately 200 systems a month. I had a team of 3 full-time techs and 5 part time. My pc experience is unlimited.

H&R Block, Washington DC: District Support Technician (10/98 –04/02) In charge of the maintenance, design and setup of a metropolitan area network made up of 13 separate offices in the DC, Maryland area. In charge of the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of over 200 workstations, and 13 separate servers. I Supported 250 users. I installed Compaq computers and servers. Set up systems through a MAN. Updated the servers, which included upgrading and installing special software accounting programs based on the Access program. I migrated to server information. I backed up confidential data information. This included updating data software that interfaced with Internal Revenue Service Computers, and State government Tax software. Installed HP and Brother laser printers. Installed exterior modems for rapid refund. I connected the main office with a T-1 line connected to a Cisco router program. Also in charge of training each office supervisor in the proper use of our own particular software applications. Operating systems were Win95, 98 and 2000.

Maryland Army National Guard, Laurel MD: NCOIC Signal System Support (6/77 – 10/01)

I started my military career in the Air Force as a radio operator from (1977- 1985). I had a secret clearance issued by the Air Force. After that I transferred to the Army National Guard, I was a member of the Delaware Army Band

From (1985-1993) I was a trumpet player for the Delaware Army Band.

(1993 – 2001) Non Commission Officer in charge of signal system support, which includes computer systems. I was a Crypto Repair Tech and later assigned to Signal System Support responsible for the maintenance and repair of radio, and computer related equipment for the 629th MI BN. In charge of the Battalion network of computers while deployed overseas on active duty working with the regular Army, and Nato forces. Supported 300 users, my section provided the maintenance for our entire battalion. Installed Dell, and Compaq desktop and notebook systems into a secure multi-server based network.

We connected workstations to their WIN NT network. We set up the configurations for the network cards with the proper protocols, gateway, IP, and server information and tested for connectivity. We also connected systems to Cicsco routers Replacing network cards as well as troubleshooting existing systems and system integration. This included installation of HP laser printers. This included and upgrade to Windows NT 4.0. from 95 and 98. Including configuring workstations as well as troubleshooting. We also replaced hard drives, video cards, and installed cdroms and zip drives. Planning and implementation of maintenance schedules, and user training. I received the Army Commendation Medal for my work in Bosnia in 2000 as the network support NCOIC. I retired in 10-2001.

Hechinger Company, Rockville MD: Inventory Management Specialist (07/88 - 10/95)

In charge of a computer automated ordering system for a $12 million home improvement store. I trained all employees on the proper use of the system. I maintained and adjusted ordering levels. I programmed cash registers and maintained our mainframe system. I also did automated schedules, and additionally tasked with processing an automated time clock system, from which employees were paid.
