Warehouse

• Packed and unpacked items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouse or in yards.

• Accountable for loading/unloading company vehicles and inventory tracking.

• Convey materials and items from receiving areas to storage by forklift/pallet jacks.

• Sort and place materials or items on racks/shelves or bins according to predetermined sequence such as, size, type, color or product code.

• Fill requisitions, work orders, or request for materials, tools or other stock items, and distribute.

• Input and retrieval from automated systems.

• Assemble orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves.

• Mark materials and stock items using labeling equipment.

• Open bales, crates and other containers using hand tools.

• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.

• Handling of transfer adjustments, redirects and distribution center shipments.

• Weigh/Count items for distribution within work area to insure conformance to company policy.

• Receive and count stock items and record data manually or using computer (EX. Eagle Browser).

• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies/shrinkage and adjust for errors.

• Store items in orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms and other areas.

• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment and storage areas to insure compliance with safety regulations.

• Determine proper storage methods, identification and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors and physical capabilities of facility.
